Bridging the Global Tech Divide
TechGetAfrica was born from a simple observation: Africa has incredible tech talent, but lacks equitable access to the certification programs and training that global employers recognize and value.
Our founder, Reagan Enoch Owiti, experienced this firsthand as he navigated his own tech career journey from Nairobi to working abroad. Despite his world-class education and skills, he faced constant skepticism about his capabilities due to the lack of industry-recognized credentials on his resume.
In 2023, he returned to Africa with a mission: to create a platform that would provide African tech professionals with the same access to certification programs, mentorship, and job opportunities that their global counterparts enjoy.
What started as a small bootcamp in Nairobi with just 15 students has grown into the continent's leading tech certification platform, with learning hubs in 12 major African cities and online programs reaching all 54 countries. Our 5,000+ graduates work at top global tech companies, lead innovative African startups, and build technology that impacts millions.
